DELIVERY FEE FAQs
Please read carefully!
We are choosing to NOT use SHIPPING at this time. Instead we will deliver and pick-up. There will be a fee of $.40 per mile from zip code 96780. This actually works out to $.20 per mile because we make two trips- delivery and pick up!
We are located approximately 25 miles north of Hilo, in Papaaloa, and will deliver mainly on the east side of the island. Some exceptions apply.
Be aware that this delivery fee isn't contingent to how many items you rent. This saves you money the more items you rent, and how long the rental is.
We will send an additional invoice for delivery fees which must be paid before date of delivery.
We are also willing to meet at a designated place of your choice, or one of our favorite spots. This may be more convenient for you and delivery fee will be less. There will be a three hour window of time in which you can pick up your items. Some exceptions will apply. Just be sure to put the complete address into the delivery box information during checkout. ALWAYS INCLUDE A PHONE NUMBER.
All our delivery and pick up fees are a ONE TIME fee. We believe we are keeping your costs low compared to USPS, UPS, FEDEX, as well as saving time!
No refunds are given on rental items.
CANCELLATIONS are only accepted 48 hours before delivery date. If you do not cancel before that time, one week rental fee will apply.
If an item isn't returned on time a daily fee will also apply.

How will I know what my delivery cost will be? - We will gladly let you know before check-out if you text us.
Otherwise, you will receive an additional invoice for delivery fees after you pay for the rental fee. Our system isn't set up at this time to put an additional delivery fee onto the first invoice. Hopefully that will get changed!

How can I schedule a delivery?- In our checkout page there is a box in which you will tell us the best time and day for delivery. (The delivery date will be scheduled before adding an item to the cart through a calendar with black-out days showing in shadow.) We will try our best to get closest to your requested time. (Subject to change at any time)
How is the pick-up time scheduled? Exactly seven, fourteen or 28 days from your rental delivery date we will come back for pick up. We will schedule that time on the date we deliver with you in person.
Does someone need to be home at the time of delivery AND PICK UP? Yes, we need you to inspect the items at delivery and us to inspect with you at pick up. We want the items to be acceptable for the next renter.
If over time you continue to rent from us and we know we can trust you with our items, we may allow delivery and pick up without someone being home.
